30.) And finally: Write a letter to your character, from yourself.
Dear Phoebe,
You had a very interesting start. What with you being a fan character for a fanfiction that was kind of meant to deconstruct Twilight of all things. And you being the child of Aro and a bunch of other strange things.
I really wasn’t expecting you to come to anything after I gave up the fanfiction. Honestly, the only reason I revamped you at all was because you had a cool design and I wanted a vampire.
I wasn’t expecting to use you much. I wasn’t planning on getting attached to you and was probably going to kill you. But then you expressed interest in falling in love and becoming attached to someone for the first time. Okay, I went along with it. I gave you a someone. I was going to kill that someone in a few years and you were going to become stronger for it and live on without him.
Harvey ended up growing on me and I realized I couldn’t kill him but that’s another letter for another day.
Where was I going with this?
Uh I didn’t realize you were quite as damaged when I created you? And I do apologize for that. You’re a lot like Michmethah which worries me because if I do publish a story with you, you’re going to have to be very very different, you realize that?
I like what I’m doing with you in the Misery High verse though. I know you’re going to get a happy ending and become a better person eventually. It’ll just take awhile. And you’ll probably get cut up more in the meantime. Sorry, you can take it.
If I do end up using you in a published story, I am serious about possibly pairing you up with Victor. ENJOY!
In the meantime, be happy you emo vampire child you. I’m gonna stop torturing you eventually.
