Meh, I gave up around book five. The all-just-a-dream thing in three was where I lost patience, as well—especially since they brought up the idea and then proceeded to never, ever mention it again.
They did that a lot. No sense of continuity whatsoever. I wonder if that’s a James Patterson problem, or if that was just a series specific problem.
